Workshops are taught by experienced and qualified instructors. Materials and handouts are supplied.

Social Activities and Dinners
Unwind and mingle with your colleagues at a wide range of activities organized throughout your program. Activities may include a welcome lunch, various Chinese cuisine dinners, bowling nights, karaoke, laser tag, basketball and other social activities.

Mandarin Classes
Optional classes on ‘survival Mandarin' are held for six hours per week, and are taught by qualified and experienced native Chinese teachers at WLE’s Beijing Chinese Language Academy. Participants are not required to have any prior knowledge of the Chinese language. Classes teach practical Chinese including phrases and words commonly used in daily life. Textbooks are supplied at no additional cost. A proficiency test in your first week will determine you language level so that you are assigned to the appropriate class.
