World Link Education’s Real Life English Academies continue to expand in China and currently have year round vacancies. Applications for acceptance into the program can be made at any time and we are always happy to hear from anyone who is looking for the opportunity to make a difference to someone’s life by guiding them through learning a new language and who are also committed to an exciting new life style.
Intakes into the program are on the first Monday of every month ensuring that you will arrive with other teachers and form new friends more easily.
From acceptance into the program to arrival in China will take approximately 4-6 weeks, however should you wish to apply for a date in the future we will process your application upon receipt and set a future date for your arrival, enabling you to plan ahead.
1. Application
A. Fax the following documents to the nearest WLE Office.
i. Application Form (Click to download)
ii. "Why I want to Teach in China". For more information, click here.
iii. WLE Reference Form (completed by someone other than a family member/neighbour or friend. We strongly recommend that you obtain a reference from a University professor and/or current employer)
iv. Copy of your passport (personal details and photo page)
v. Copy of payment of non-refundable US$90 Application Fee (bank receipt or check)
vi. Copies of certificate, degree or diploma
vii. Copies of teaching qualifications, certificates or written references (if available)
viii. Resume (one page)
ix. 6 passport size photos*
B. *Mail the above documents along with 6 recent passport size photos to the nearest WLE Office.
Within 5 days of receiving the complete application, Admissions will confirm that the documents are received.
2. Interview
Within 14 days of receiving your Application, arrangements will be made for a suitable time and date for a short telephone interview.
3. Placement Offer
Successful applicants will be offered a teaching position, and will be sent the Teaching Agreement, which outlines the terms and condition of the placement, including teaching location, remuneration, and other benefits. To accept the teaching placement, you will need to:
i) Sign the Teaching Agreement and
ii) Pay the Registration fee ($390 for 6 month placement; $690 for 1 year placement).
Fax or Mail the Enrollment Form (first page) and bank receipt for paid program fees to the nearest WLE Office. Within 5 days of receiving the Teaching Agreement we will confirm your placement.
4. Visa
Early Enrollment is strongly advised to take into account the time needed for visa documents to be sent by Admissions and visa processing time by the Embassy or Consulate. When your placement is confirmed you will be provided with the applicable visa support documentation.

Payments of the Application Fee (US$90 non-refundable) and Registration Fee may be paid by:

Keep the bank receipt and fax or send it along with the other documents as proof of payment.

Make the check or money order payable to: 'World Link Education'. World Link Education is not responsible for any loss or misplacement in the course of mailing. Personal checks are not accepted.

*1 year placements also require a deposit of USD $1200. This is fully refundable upon completion of contract.
* For teachers who renew their contracts for a further year the deposit will be refunded in two halves, one at the 18 month point and the second payment at the 23 month point.
